I don’t have any problems with too much spam; rather, my filter seems to think almost everything is spam! Yahoo keeps sending messages from groups I’ve joined to the spam box, even though I keep finding them and restoring them to my inbox. Is there a way to make sure the inbox accepts certain emails?

I’m working on anti-fraud software for affiliate marketers and I want to be able to validate the existence of a given email and how old the account is. Does Yahoo mail allow this? G-mail? Hotmail?

I want to do an email announcement to a large number of people but I want to keep their addresses hidden.

Is it possible to know if the person you sent email has read the message or not? is there auto reply service in Gmail, hotmail and yahoo?

I sometimes get work messages sent to my Yahoo account, and would like to be able to redirect them (and only them) to my work email account with the headers intact, so it still appears as from them (if I forward the emails, as I do currently, my name is in the ‘from’ field). I have Yahoo Plus, if that makes any difference.

I’ve added a filter for specific emails to go into a folder, but now I don’t get those emails to my blackberry like all other emails. What’s wrong? They go into the folder, but cannot access those through my blackberry.

All the emails in my inbox that were sent before mid-October are unreadable. I cannot see a message, and the “To” field says the emails were sent to “undisclosed recipients.” I cannot access any attachments either. Yahoo seems to have lost all my previous emails, and I need to get them back.

I’m using a normal free Yahoo account to email a newsletter to a membership list of about 250 members. Members are all aware that they are members and I use bcc to protect members’ email addresses.

However, there is a quota on number of recipients in one go and in one hour. I have to send 4-5 emails (of about 50 recipients each) with time gap to left between every 2 emails (100 recipients) to make sure we’ve entered into a new hour. I’m doing this as a voluntary task in my spare time and just want to get it done quickly ! Number of members may increase in future as well.

Surely there must be an easier way to enable effective and legitimate bulk emailing? We are ready to pay for a more advanced account in Yahoo, but could not figure out if this is possible or not.

Any help will be appreciated.
