I don’t want to go to the post office, but I want to send somebody a few things at the same time. If I were to use a brown envelope (the bigger ones), am I allowed to ship it myself in my own mailbox? How many stamps would I use then? What are the limitations? I am not sure if it’s only limited to mailing letters by yourself or not. If anybody could fill me in, that’d be great.

you’ll need to go by weight and size to determine stamps. However, some larger items have to be brought to the post office even it it has sufficient postage.
There are no restrictions on mailing thing to yourself.
