I want to download my work email (Exchange Server) onto my home PC hard drive (Windows XP). How do I do that?

From your mail at work, use File > Import and Export > Export to a file and name the file name.
Use the backup file and brought them up with your home computer (import from that file). You have a complete copy at home of what you have at work.
