How do you export a yahoo group mailing list?

We need to compare our mailing list on Yahoo with our member list. When we’ve tried to export the list, we get a lot of code, or when selecting export to Microsoft, it comes across as a disjointed Excel file. How do we get a clean (readable) export list?

instead of clicking the export tab, try the download tab which will bring a page of just the e-mail address which you can copt and paste to where ever. the export tab includes all the columns of what is on the members page, which is why it ends up a mess when added where ever.
