Filed Under (Spam & Bulk Mail) by admin

Messages from people who have been emailing me for a long time (mom, work contacts) are suddenly being routed to my Bulk mail. Is there a way to make sure this doesn’t keep happening? I’m mising a bunch of important emails!

try re adding them to your email adresses

I’ve had this happen at times. A few POSSIBLE reasons include:
You hit the block address instead of ADD address near an email.
You accidentally marked something as spam that was not and it ended up in the blocked email addresses.
Your ISP/email provider changed their algorithm.
Your emailers changed their addresses.

What you can try to do that probably will help is:
make sure you have the addresses of the people you want to get email from IN your address book.
Go into your blocked addresses and make sure that they should be blocked.
Use a filter and put the addresses of each person whose email you want in there and say to send it to the inbox.

For a few days at least, check the bulk mail. Get your important people to even just send you a TEST email after you try the stuff I suggested and make sure it all gets through. If it doesn’t contact your email provider and tell them what the problem is and what you tried and see if they can help you out.
Good luck.

This is happening to me too! Can’t work it out, found out by accident, I never look in my bulk folder usually. Now I look everyday.

One way round I thought of is to get everyone in your address book to send you one email marked “test bulk”. Then check your bulk mailbox and if any emails have come in there, mark them “not spam”. Or even maybe – move all the emails you get back into the “bulk” folder and then mark them all “not spam”??

Check your blocked senders and see if you accidently blocked some. I have done that before.=======
