Hi, I’m afraid people on Yahoo Answers can’t really help you much. We are, like you, people with an Yahoo-acount, but don’t work for Yahoo. There are several things I can advice you regarding Junk mail, once you see one, hit… the Spam button. That way the Spam guard knows you also see it as spam and the more people hit that button, the better the Spam Guard gets for all of us. I Guess nobody wants spam, but unfortunately its a very lucrative business. When 0.5% of receivers actually buy something because of spam and… 1 billion spams are sent, that equals 500.000 clients. So… it would still be lucrative when only 0.1% reacted. Spam senders will therefor do allmost anything to get their garbage in your In box and it’s hard to totally make an end to it. Also look out where you post your Email address, lists of working addresses are worth a lot of money. An Email response like “Stop it, I don’t want it” lets the automated address-harvester know your Address is still alive and your address is sold again. The body and subject of your mail will probably never be seen by human eyes. If you want more you better contact Yahoo itself. Post a comment
