you’d have to send it directly to all the members e-mail through your own e-mail provider and not to the yahoo group address. there’s no option to not include certain members, sorry.

The best way is to send it to individuals. The moderator could change the members settings to not recieve email or special notices only and then send out email. They may get notices of the change and I don’t know if there’s a delay in the change of settings to no email or web only. Alternately, you could make everyone a moderator but those 2. Send email to group address with -owner appended before @yahoogroups.com. If it only goes to owner only those moderators will get it. You can make someone a moderator and make them only able to do one thing (I’ve never tried to make a moderator who can’t do anything but one would think that would be impossible). So that’s how you do it but I can’t guarantee there won’t be some kind of glitch that would cause this not to work. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work except for delay in processing or a group that is too large. Post a comment
