its a yahoo answers glitch and they are repairing the site and problems might occur like you might find it saying a question has been deleted when it hasn’t or getting the same notification of a best answer, just keep deleting and know that they are fixing the site.

I got a best answer last night, and YA sent me over 20 email notifications. I think its just a glitch… I hope.

Hi there. I got one of my BAs for a question sent to me 38 times, and now they are sending me the same cycle of BA notifications over and over. I have pretty much just started ignoring them now.

I’ve gotten the same cycle of Best Answer notifications about 5 times now (the cycle is 12 notifications long). If you really want them to stop this, send up your spam filter on your email service to prevent them from sending them to you until Y!A fixes the problem, which is probably going to take a few days.

This is a glitch that Yahoo Answers is experiencing at this point in time, along with the contact question email notification and all you can do is wait. Yahoo Answers will have it sorted out within the next couple of days, if not within the next week.
