Someone sent mass email using my email address as sender. – no they did not, you have a mass mailing worm on your PC. Do a full set of scans.

No one sent you any mass emailing. You PC is infected with a worm and now your PC is a bot, that sends out mass mailers to all of your contacts and to any person that communicates with you. You can download the free version of Superantispyware.com Update and run and in depth scan. Free you must update daily on a manual basis or purchase and get auto. updates. Will clean your PC. Next time, make sure you have all your Microsoft critical updates installed, firewall, antivirus and three or four antispyware. And don´t open and attachment even if you know the person as they can be infected. Mind Doctor, France

It is possible, although unlikely that someone would do a mass emailing using your email address as the return address. However, it is more likely that you have been infected with a virus. Scan your system with a virus scanner (make sure your virus definition files are up to date). If you don’t have a virus scanner, go to and get AVG for free and scan your system. If your virus scanner does not find anything, you can try and contact your ISP and see if they can do something. It is more than likely you have a virus of some sort. Post a comment
