What laptop brand is best for surfing the web and emailing?

I’m interested in buying a laptop, but I think I’m only going to buy one mainly to use to go on the internet and email. (I want an inexpensive one if possible) So any suggestions?

Well Then You May As Well Get The Cheapest Dell Inspiron 15 And Upgrade Its RAM to 2gb and Procescor to 2Ghz 667mhz. And there you have it.

I’m partial to Dell too. The 1525 is an excellent machine for the money. You can upgrade if you wish, but for what you want to do it’s awfully good right off the shelf.

I would stick with dell. They have wonderful deals online… Usually it’s not the laptop (or even the pc) that’s expensive… Its the licensing for all the software (windows, office, etc)…
