I don’t want the emails to go to my junk mail filter, I want them to know that I didn’t receive there email. Is that possible?
bill j – typical IT answer, but I am at work and don’t have an option.

low_on_r…: cute cat, but I want this person to know that I am not getting and don’t want their emails.

dakotadn: Thanks a bunch.

number 1 quit using outlook. it *****. use yahoo mail or hotmail. when you use outlook your actualy just wanting to get a bad email from someone with a nasty virus just waiting to get in. when you use a mail sight thats not on your computer, they have all the mail on there server instead of you getting it on your pc. when its downloaded to your pc on outlook its on your pc then. and as for junk mail if you use yahoo or such you wont even have to mess with it in the first place

If you are looking to “pretend” your email address is wrong to a person that won’t stop sending you email this will work. If you are looking to stop spammers… it will not work.

You need to create/spoof a mailer damon message & either have it set up as a autoresponder for certain people or manually send it.

Though, wouldn’t it just be easier to ignore their emails & delete them?

In Outlook 2003

Tools -> Rules and Alerts
New Rule
Start with a Blank Rule
Check Messages when they arrive
Select: From “People or Distribution List” (add names of ignored senders)
Next
Select: Have the server reply with a specific message (create the message you want to send)
Also Select: Delete the message permanently

Run the rule
